Address of May 24, 2003: Fate & Tests

by archangel Gabriel

Greetings to you all, my friends on earth! As we join you at this time to bring you a message, we are filled with joy to have this opportunity to share with you a glimpse of your true home, to be able to remind you of who you really are, to awaken some well buried memories. It is time not only to remember that you are spirit, currently incarnated on this planet, to experience life here, to learn and grow through this learning. As your soul chose this planet, and all the circumstances of your life, such as your parents, and any brothers or sisters you may have, such as what your childhood was like, it is often difficult for humans to accept that this life as it happened was exactly what the soul desired to experience. But remember, you are who you are today, with all scars, but also with all the joy you had, but regardless of how pleasant and unpleasant your experiences were, you are who you are thanks to those experiences. What you learned from the experiences is of course up to you – some humans resist learning and take a turn to the dark side, others accept learning as part of life, and accept the experiences, learn from them, and can build their life productively upon these experiences. Not all that happens in your life is fate – your soul has chosen some lessons for this life, and they will be presented to you, but how you deal with them, and what the outcome may be is mostly up to you, as the outcome is guarded by the law of cause and effect. So, dear friends, when things happen in you life which you wish didn’t happen, remember that it is up to you how you deal with these issues, treat them as a learning experience, and in essence make the very best of it. As your children go to school, they have to take tests they wish they didn’t have to, have to answer questions they don’t enjoy answering – it is like that in life too, however just as some pupils will enjoy the tests because they have a different attitude towards them, so can you treat life’s tests with a similar positive attitude, and just like the results of such pupils will be better, so will the outcome for your tests in life. I hope this comparison has helped a little to not only understand the tests of life better, but also to view them with a better attitude. Be blessed, dear friends! Amen.
