by archangel ZadkielGreetings to you, my dear friends! As you reach out to obtain the knowledge that you think you need to ascend to get ahead with your spiritual development, it is important to stand still for a moment and observe what is being done. What purpose lies in satisfying the mind, filling it with more and more information, hoping to perhaps eliminate doubt, or in some cases, even trying to reach knowledge that is by some said to be needed for ascension. Dear friends, please stop what you are doing right now, and observe what you are doing. If you think knowledge will bring you to higher realms, it is time I tell you it is not so. Knowledge is simply for the mind, not for the spirit, not only because the spirit already has all the knowledge that you seek, and I am talking about your very own spirit here, your soul. Your mind always searches for answers, but is never quite satisfied – when one question gets answered, the next one will appear. It is good that this works that way, so you cannot stand still in your development, and your mind has worked quite well to help you get to where you are now. It is essential for life on earth to have this mind as a human being on earth, but one needs to become aware that it is simply a tool, to get you started on your voyage of life, and assist you in managing life’s daily tasks. However, it is not the tool nor the key to reach higher realms, or to learn how to advance spiritually. I can see that many humans are still trying to understand spirituality, trying to find proof or think they need to learn with the mind. Growing spiritually is a process of learning, true, but not learning through thought, through the transfer of knowledge. Now that I have explained some of the dead ends in trying to grow spiritually, let me now show you some ways to get closer to your goal – of course, that is the purpose of this entire site, but let me explain what I am trying to get across to you today. You have all your life been conditioned to learn with your mind and to understand things through thought. Now is the time, to accept the mind for what it is, and go beyond its limited capabilities. One drawback is the conditioning, so therefore it will have to be at the same time a process of passing by this conditioning, overcoming its boundaries. The best way to achieve this is probably by going to the roots of your own self, thereby getting in touch not only with your self and your soul, but also reaching a state of consciousness that does not depend on the mind to have all the answers, because this consciousness has all the answers already within, almost like someone with amnesia who regains the memory and realizes that all the knowledge wasn’t lost but had been inside all along. Of course, you want to know how to reach such a state of consciousness. There is no trick or back door to reaching this level of awareness, you simply need to practice observing yourself, your thoughts, and what surrounds you – with unconditional love, without judgment, with devotion to life and its core purpose, and with humility. There is probably nobody on earth that could do this without lots of practice, and so do you need to practice, the sooner you start, the better for you and your development. I can give you an additional exercise how to practice this, but the key is to realize this exercise in daily life, not only in moments of inner silence. So let me say, additionally one can strengthen the effect of this practicing using this exercise: Begin as usual with the triple light protection (see Emanuel, chapter 4.1), pass through a tunnel or gate of light, and you find yourself at a place you feel comfortable. Allow it to be whatever comes – a beach, a mountaintop, a forest, a meadow … the surroundings are not very important for this exercise itself. Sit down, and in your mind, reverse time, observe what happened just before this exercise began, observe it with peace in your mind, with love in your heart, and do not judge anything that happened, simply observe. Turn the time further back, experiencing the entire day in reverse until the time you woke up that morning. Keep observing and watch your thoughts and emotions – do not suppress them, but try to be the observer of your thinking and feeling. Then, move back in fast forward, again observing, and see if you can notice any change in how you think and feel about the events of the day, until you reach the time right before you began the exercise. Naturally, this exercise would be best done in the evening, maybe right before going to bed. As a daily exercise, you will notice how your thinking and feeling will change, and you will be more able to get in touch with who you really are, because it brings you closer to your self as your awareness begins to observe the life you have on earth. This widens your consciousness and brings you closer to your higher self. Don’t expect a miracle or be too strict with yourself – consider this exercise a game. Some humans have the problem of taking “being human” too serious. Let go of fears, let go of the pressure you may be putting on yourself – there is enough load to carry, do not add any extra yourself. If this or any other exercise I mentioned is not going the way you expected, reconsider your expectations, and accept things the way they are. Be blessed, be aware of the power of the light within you. Greetings to you. Amen. Amen. Amen.
