Greetings, This is a time of change. Many people do not like change - they are comfortable with what they have, and they consider change as a risk, and as an attack on their apparent comfort. It takes courage to look up and free yourself from that what you are used to. However, if you don't, you are stuck in a static situation. This is a time of change. It is a time of overcoming fear, a time to realize who and what you are. Once you really realize who and what you are, which is a spirit in a spirit world, incarnated on a planet named earth - then you can begin to realize that fear is unnecessary and a waste of your energy. This is a time of change. I was once told a story - there were these pigs that are in a mud hole. They just loved to lay in the mud, roll around in it, this felt real comfortable and cozy. One pig was curious and went up the rim of the mud hole and saw how beautiful it was outside this mud hole. This pig told the others, but they showed no interest and said they were comfortable and wanted no change. So the pig went by itself, cleaned itself and became even happier than before. Again, it tried to convince the others to follow - only few listened, fewer even tried, but after a few attempts of getting out of the mud hole they gave up. Don't get me wrong here - I'm not saying that most people are pigs, but many behave a lot like the pigs in this story. At least so it seems - for we should not judge. What we observe of others may not be what is inside, it is not a meter for their spirituality, or their level of spiritual achievement. It is important to focus on your own spiritual development and less worry about the others. We can help them, when they require and ask for help, but it is not our duty to be missionaries and force our views on others. All we can do is offer them our help, offer them insight, it is up to them to decide what is right for them at that time - for this may change and they may accept more at a later time when they have been properly prepared. Also let us not forget that our views and insights are not perfect and in constant change and upgrade. Some progress differently, some are much higher developed than what we can see, so it really is silly to assume a role of superiority over anyone. The one you feel superior over may be a much higher developed being playing a certain role on earth for reasons we can seldom know and understand, let it be for a test of how people react to such behavior and traits, let it be to help certain humans realize specific ideas, thoughts or emotions. This is a time of change. Let us not get into denial, some have simply because some predictions of some prophet have not come true exactly the way it was predicted. When predictions that are a warning do not come true, then that is a good sign, and the predictions fulfilled its purpose to change the course of mankind's history. There are plenty of predictions in history that were a warning and came true - because their warning was denied, nothing was changed. In my opinion, warning predictions are simply a warning, saying if you keep doing what you are doing then this will happen. All predictions have some percentage of probability - how high this probability is, may be unknown to the one who makes the prediction. It's almost like the weather forecast. Plenty of times I have experienced that they were wrong - still, they keep being broadcast all over the world despite the error margin from the probability. Just as with weather forecasts, predictions for mankind are subject to millions and billions of factors that have an active role in the making of the future - every single one of us can make a difference. Every human that decides to get involved in light work has an impact on the predictions and changes the future of mankind to the positive. Love & Light October 27, 1998 |
