Greetings, From time to time I would like to share my reflections on spiritual matters, the channeled teachings on this site, or world events that relate to the earth transformation. I hope this brings me closer to the readers of Spiritual Connection, as most of the material was not written by me but through me. Let me begin by telling you a little about myself - those who checked my private homepage in the links section of this site may have noticed that on my personal site I have not said much about my spiritual history. In this lifetime, I was an atheist for a while, but towards the end of my teenage years I realized that science cannot explain everything and that there are things that can only be explained when the existence of a greater intelligence is accepted. I started to believe in God again, and at the same time my parents allowed me to come along to their monthly trips to Åbenrå, Denmark, where an older lady was trance channeling messages from her spirit guide and teacher "Brother Johannes". First I was very skeptical, but the accuracy of her channeled messages was stunning and soon convinced me, for she said details that she couldn't know as a "normal" person. A little while later I started meditating, although not regularly. My discovery of my spiritual identity went on over the following years, and when I returned to Germany after I had been to the USA for University study, the lady in Denmark had passed over. I had the inspiration to attempt to channel myself. Around Christmas 1989 I made my first contact with an entity called "Daniel" who helped me to get started. A few days later I asked my parents to join, and they were just as surprised as I was that the entity "Brother Johannes" came through, who had always come through the Danish lady. In 1995 I returned from a five year stay in the USA, and ever since then I have been channeling "Brother Johannes". Throughout these years of channeling, also "Emmanuel" had come through for writings, the results can be seen in "The Path Of Light", the core of this site. For about one year, archangel Michael has prepared me for channeling his messages, and since spring of 1998 I have been occasionally receiving his teachings during my regular channeling. Lately, Michael has been coming through more frequently, and I have the strong feeling this tendency will continue. The appearance of Gabriel at the "Messages of Light" on Oct. 11, 1998 caught me by surprise, but it was a nice experience. I have been frequently asked, "how does it feel to channel? What do you experience?" - To me as a conscious channel, I play an active role in the process. To me, a good preparation is necessary, not just as a precaution, but mostly so I can be sure the message is as clear and unpolluted by personal thoughts as possible. I hear the messages as if they were thoughts in my head, but with the experience I can tell the difference between my personal thoughts and the received ones. During the channeling, the aura of the spirit teacher merges to a significant extent with mine, to allow a good flow of thought. This feels very calming, and I always feel warmth. Each spirit feels differently, and I sometimes can tell before the channeling who is present and is probably going to speak. This is like the feeling you get when you are in the room with someone and you feel their presence - either in positive way or as discomfort. Many of us have experienced this by feeling comfortable around some, and feeling nervous or otherwise disharmonious around others. When you tune into these feelings, it is possible to tell who is near without seeing them. I have also been asked, what I see while I channel. I can sometimes see outlines, sometimes details, not with my physical eyes but like in a daydream. Often more than the plain words are received, sometimes thought "packets" with a lot of complex information comes through, some of what will later never be said when it comes out in words. Some things are hard to describe in words of a limited human language (no matter which language I channel in, English or German), for they deal with things that have to be experienced, which they haven't by most, therefore there are no suitable words in the human vocabulary. We are getting to a point where the vocabulary simply doesn't suffice to bring the message in its entirety, but with the help of the spirits I channel we get things sorted out and I listen to them when it comes to what to say and how to say it. However, it turns out that even then sometimes things get misunderstood, but thanks to those "thought packets" I can occasionally help to clear things up a little. When translating "The Path Of Light" from German into English I often felt the presence of Emmanuel and his help in finding the right words, but I still felt that there are some places where things could be misunderstood. Emmanuel however let me know the script is fine the way it is, so I hope that it is as clear to everyone as it is to me. To finish up my spiritual history, in July 1998 I decided to begin with this site with some files from the first few chapters from "The Path Of Light", and now it has grown to have the complete book from Emmanuel, "Messages of Light", and as of today with a more personal touch, the addition of "Reflections".
